Downtown bar tender?

Two Irishman walk past a bar.

I like the Vue bar upstairs at Fitzgeralds. Their bartenders are nice and even over New Years I never had a problem with getting a drink. And during the day it's not very crowded.

I'll second the choice of bartops and the daytime (7:00 - 3:00) bartender at MSS. Brian is the friendly, white-haired guy behind the bar. We've played their bartops (as recent as last week) and enjoyed his friendship, his Bloody Mary's and MSS's micro brews for years. Unfortunately Brian is now counting down to his well-deserved March 2nd retirement date. If you see him wish him a happy retirement from "the Boys from Wisconsin."
