Every Year I Plan to "____" But Never Do...

With every trip to Vegas I make lots of plans. Go see a show, check out this casino, eat at this restaurant, etc etc.. However there is always that one item on my list I never seem to get to..

My last 4 trips, I have "planned" to go check out The Orleans.. And every trip I never get a chance to..
I get home, look at my unused Orleans coupons and kick myself for once again, not getting there..

Its almost become a joke now.. and I may just have to add it to my bucket list instead..

Marko..
We planned to visit the Cannery, never did, and then another one opened and we still haven't been out to either one.
I have LV trips planned later this month, in October and in November so maybe I'll get this checked off the list this year.

Paul, I go to the Craig Rd. Cannery all the time, but have never been to the Eastside version. If you'd like to meet up on either your October or November trip, let me know. I'd love to meet you.

I highly recommend Waverly's (the Cannery's steakhouse). It's my favorite restaurant.
Win a million dollars but darn it never seems to work out but I am gonna keep trying. LOL

I don't think there is any one thing, but after every trip there are restaurants that we intended to visit but don't make it due to scheduling conflicts or insufficient time. Okada, Japonais (not in the same class as Okada, but nonetheless), Nora's, and B&B are among those on my short list of regrets.
Eat at Delmonico. A zillion trips to Vegas, never made it there.
It usually involves losing the desire to get dressed up.

I absolutely agree with you on Waverly's. I've had dinner there three times and the food and service is always excellent. The prices aren't Ellis Island cheap, but they also aren't stupid expensive.
I do want one day to go to the Pinball Hall Of Fame but either nobody else wants to go, or I'm alone and don't want to take buses out there.

But one of these days I'll make it out there!

I keep promising myself that I will make a trip to Lotus of Siam, considered the best Thai restaurant around. The closest I came to dining there was going to the place on a Saturday evening but, after seeing a line going out the door in 100+ degree weather, I had a change of heart. Oh well, I guess that gives me a reason to come back to Vegas!
Hi Sue- that sounds great.
We will be attending a convention in October (18-22) and have plans for a long play weekend 11/10- 13. Of course we also hope to visit Aliante Station sometime......
We'll stay in touch, a visit to Waverlys sounds great. We are steakhouse fans and hitting Top of the World at the Strat, Jean George at Aria and Strip Steak at PH this trip.
