A feel good story in these times of less than stellar customer service

David,

I'm really sorry that you got the impression that I was somehow berating the person waiting on us. We felt cheated by the system not the individual. I gave her a $7.00 tip for a $28.00 meal because she was so nice and pleasant. The email stated that the tavern team would be trained in the conversion of casino points to tavern points so this won't happen in the future.

It was a good decision to go to the Aquarius. We came home $100.00 ahead. If you feel good you get good play.

Packer Backer - I must have confused you by my remarks. I had and have no problem with how you handled this situation. I do have a problem with others who seemingly take any opportunity to berate and chastise people who are doing their jobs to the best of their ability. My comments were not directed towards you - I think that you handled the situation perfectly.

Yes, Packer, David's comments were directed at me, as part of his ongoing feud with me, and weren't honest expressions of an opinion or criticism of how you handled the situation.

You handled things well, and my advice still stands: if you're told "no," especially by a low-level employee, don't accept that if you think your grievance is legitimate.
