Female casino management/ownership?

"Goofle."  Kevin, you do keep me laughing!

Having had females at the helm during my career, I can say that they are as self-serving as the males.  At least in healthcare.  But they weren't 'bosses' at the top of Fortune 500 companies, so no real comparison there.

Now, though, females are CEOs at: General Motors, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Oracle, Ross Stores, Occidental Petroleum, Hertz, Williams-Sonoma, among others.  How are those companies doing?

Varying degrees of success, I imagine. Some of the more recent female CEO's of tech companies have done poor jobs. But I think the overall success of a corporation is only slightly correlated to the performance of its CEO.

I couldn't find anything useful from Goofle, either.

Given that only a few possible examples over the last couple of decades have popped up, I think we can safely say that the casino industry is and has been almost totally male-dominated.

So the next question I have is: What would things have been like if a significant percentage of women had been in charge? Would Vegas have still taken the full-greed-ahead tack that it has in recent years? And would there have been less collusion and more actual competition among the casinos with more women at the helm?

I'm assuming things would be pretty much the same since women are as capable men. As far as ownership, next time one comes up for sale if a woman ponied up enough money I would think they could buy one, or they could build one.

The Longhorn has a female casino manager and she is good at the job.
