First year with no trip to Vegas

Pleased you're getting to go after all. This is the first year in 15, I think, that we haven't gone. I suspect we'll be going by spring or early summer.

Haven't been to Vegas in 2 years now. Was going 4-5 times a year from the eastcoast. Drought almost over: April 2014.... woo hoo!!!

I haven't been since 2007, planning a trip in Oct 2014. So much has changed since the last time I was there I can't wait to check it all out.

Connie and I went in October 2012, then not again til Jan1st of this year. For a while the airfares were such that even with the crappier payouts on VP at the local casinos here, considering the cost of 2 plane tickets and a rental car, we were coming out ahead here even when losing. And I actually had a very nice number of royal flushes at Mystic Lake and GC Hinckley. Sure, the local casinos aren't quite up to Vegas, but, lousy pay schedules aside, they're getting closer. For just gambling, some food, a free room, and maybe a movie, a weekend at one of the MN casinos is not bad.

But not Vegas, of course.

I wasn't planning on going this year as well. Thanks to this economy and one more in college, bankroll was down. My Vegas partner really wanted to go in March. When I explained to her my situation, she bought my plane ticket, a show ticket and we have free rooms and food at the Palms. So, I guess I'm going in March!! Yeah!!
