Founderscard

I have seen threads on message boards and forums talking about a "Founderscard" that can be bought for as low as $595 for a two year membership (and a waived $95 initiation fee) and as high as $495 for one year plus the additional $95 initiation fee. The Founderscard includes Total Rewards Diamond status and perks including waived resort fees, line privileges, admission to Diamond lounges, and $100 annual dinner... Has anyone heard of the Founderscard and what are your feeling/thoughts? I think you also have to have a referral code to apply so if anyone has one especially for $595 for two years and the waived initiation fee ($95) please post...
I also have looke dinto the Founders Card. It is very easy to get a referral. I chose not to go for it after reading many reviews and most people thought it was not worth the money and the hassle to get your annual membership cancelled if you want to. They automatically charge you every year then if you want out it is a real struggle.
I thought the Diamond card would make up for the cost but they are not certain that it will be renewed by Harrahs next year. With the financial trouble that Harrahs is in I was not ready to chance it.
I'm waiting until 2016 just doing my research early, but if they drop TR Diamond from the program its a deal breaker anyway...
Well they ought to give me one for free. I think I should be considered a "Founder" since I was patronizing Harrah's long before the invention of the Tiers.

However, I've never heard of it, and it makes no sense.
Why would they "sell" Diamond privileges for much less than it takes to earn them gambling?

Somebody's idea of selling Diamond privilegesto the non-gambling world?

We who actually gamble for ours (the old fashioned way) can forget about a seat in the DL, since everybody who buys the "Founderscard" will stay in there and eat and drink rather than gamble.

If they actually go that route, CET will lose me as a customer for certain.

I got mine last year in April & it was a great value for us. If you hit Vegas 2x+/year it is probably worth it.
We were in Vegas for 8 nights in May-June (Ballys) & 6 nights in July (Caesars). We are back next week (downtown--not my choice, going with a group) & back in Dec. for 4 nights at Harrahs.
Just the 2 summer trips=$350 in resort fees which more than covered the $295 annual fee. We were able to get 2 pair of show tickets for the first trip since it was over 2 calender months. We did pop into the Diamond lounges--tried them all in June so that I could review them for various sites. Also able to use the $100 Diamond dinner credit in July.
It has been nice to get free drinks at our local casinos.
We are not at a point to earn Diamond yet (even Diamond in a Day), but obviously we spend considerable time in Vegas each year, staying/gambling at CET resorts (comped). It has been a treat & since I do reviews, it has been good for that as well.
I am not entirely sure if I will renew next year--we will have 2 in college (both out of state) next year & that looks to cramp our Vegas style.;-) We shall see.
(BTW, I have had to contact them a couple times without issue...)
Referral code: FCKRISTIN182 if you would like
Thank you very much for the review and info!
CET fiscal IQ, maybe 50? They really should clean house, it is sad when the mob ran the CET casinos way better than the idiot egg-heads.
A local could make out on this big time, again brain dead idiots!
I am a low diamond and I lost over $10000 one year(no royals at all). So a 7 stars must lose a lot more, I would even BE more angry if I was 7 stars! CET, I WOULD NOT BE JUST A NOTHIN MY HEAD ALL FULL OF STUFFIN.......IF I ONLY HAD A BRAIN!
I promote it heavily on my website TravelZork. The idea is, that FoundersCard is selling a "suite" of status opportunities. Hilton Gold, -10% off British Airways, Cathay Pacific Marco Polo Silver and many many more. Caesars Diamond Status, just happens to be one of them.

I clarify this quite a bit on my FoundersCard Promotional Page. (Please be aware, we get a referral commission for anyone who signs up using our site or our codes.)

Is it a good deal? Sure, especially with resort fee waiver. It's a bit of a "special thing" for those who focus on Caesars and really spend 15+ nights at year at Caesars Properties nationwide.

Just remember,

FoundersCard is exclusively for high quality entrepreneurs and there is an application review process.

Not all applications will be accepted.

I find that around 80% are accepted. As always, if you have any questions, I would be happy to elaborate.
