Founderscard

I took the plunge and got the Founders Card... I found a discount code in late February for $295 a year locked in rate going forward but I had to pay for the first two years up front, also the $95 initiation fee was waived... It took a few days to get my application approved at that time I logged on to the Founders Card web site and requested my Total Rewards upgrade to Diamond status... About three weeks later I logged on to the Total Rewards site and my status reflected the Diamond upgrade... One tip I have for anyone applying for the Founders Card is to have a Linked In profile that reflects you or the company you work for as being "entrepreneurial"... I still have to visit the Total Rewards desk next time I visit a TR casino to get get my actual Diamond card and will set up my $100 Diamond dinner at that time... Will post a follow-up as to how that goes!

GREAT feedback. FoundersCard does try to limit approvals to business owners/entrepreneurs. They also do NOT want people joining for just one benefit. I find for most, one benefit usually can "seal the deal." Be it, Caesars Diamond, the 10% off BA airfares, Hilton Gold.

It's a legitimate program. You just have to weigh the cost/benefit.
One note...it did autorenew at the $395 rate that I joined at last year.
I inquired today if I could get the $295/yr. if I paid 2 years at a time.
They got RIGHT back to me (within the hour) & said you bet, they would do it immediately--retroactive to my renewal last month.
2+ short trips/1 longer trip/yr to Vegas & this is a no brainer.
I have not stayed or played at a CET property in years. but this makes me want to think about it. I normally get comped rooms from other casinos. I wonder how much I would have to play at CET to get free rooms. if I have to pay for a room even with a waived resort fee, it would be more than what I am spending for a room now.

I have heard similar stories from many others. $295 a year is a decent benefit price, IMO. In addition, I believe you can add a spouse/significant other for $295 (one time fee, no renewal) but they limit the window on this. That could be good for a few folks here (re: Caesars).

That's a bit of a open ended question. I would say target a 1000 tier point day for slots/video poker. If you are just a slots player, that should get some offers going. But, a lot has to do with market, how long since you have played, how high/low your theo was previously.

CZR is great for slot players, can be ok for video poker players. I haven't followed tables very closely recently, but you would need to have a decent average bet to generate good offers. At least, that has been my impression.
thank you for the input baccarat guy.
