Goodbye

Seems like video arcades are officially obsolete. They used to be fun back in the 80's when they had all the old school games. They lost me when they started doing the "ticket" games. Put in $50 and get enough tickets for a candy bar. Yea! Bla.

I believe that the problem is that games which are just as good, are available on the net - free! So thy are kinda becoming obsolete.

Arcades are good for kids on vacation, especially Vegas where it's an adult venue and kids have little to do,
...................... and this might be the only exception

Now that you can buy the games, play them on a 50" TV with surround sound,
sit in a soft comfortable chair and play for hours on end without inserting a single coin,
...... why would anyone go to an arcade ???
