Getting from downtown to TI parking garage?

We are returning our Dollar rental car to TI from Golden Nugget. Can someone advise the easiest route to get to the TI parking garage? Also where would be the best place to stop to fill up the tank?
Hey Debra,

How about getting over to Main Street (actually there should still be a Chevron Station on Main Street right by where you get out onto Main Street) and then taking that up to LV Blvd. (you turn onto LV Blvd. next to Stratosphere) and go up LV Blvd. from there!

so you enter the parking garage from the strip? I thought maybe there was a back way in. Thanks Rec
I think that the parking entrance is in the front, but I'm not sure about that (I haven't been there in many years). If it is through the back, you could try getting onto Industrial and going South. You would get to Industrial by taking Main Street to Wyoming, turn Right on Wyoming and then turn Left onto Industrial. This runs North-South just like LV Blvd. I think at least some of Treasure Island is next to Spring Mountain St.

Yes, take Main St. to Wyoming and turn right. Left on Industrial Rd. Left on Spring Mountain. Then turn right on Mel Torme Dr. to enter the parking garage in the back of TI.
Las vegas blvd traffic doesnt get too bad until South of TI...so I dont think taking the strip all the way down is a hassle. Plenty of gas stations near downtown on Fremont St, Charleston Blvd, or north on Main St.
Thank you all. You're the best!
You're very welcome, Debra! And actually there is something you also could check out to see if it is still happening (but you'd probably have to call the casino first to verify from them that the promotion is still going on).

With that Chevron station that I mentioned on Main Street, it is/was part of the Terrible's chain and the Terrible's Casino (Now Silver Sevens Casino) in Las Vegas had and maybe still has a promotion where if you pay for gas at a Terrible's connected station and then bring the receipt (so maybe you should get a duplicate receipt) to the Terrible's Slot Club booth, they were giving one point for each Dollar of gas spent. What this means is that if you got $40 in gas (for example), then the Slot Club would add 40 points onto your account. It's not much, but it is something (if this promotion is still happening). The gas station may not know about it at all. I say this because I previously asked them about the promotion but they knew nothing about it, but at Terrible's, they did and they credited my account with the proper number of points.

So since the casino's name has changed, maybe they're not doing this promotion anymore, but please check with them about this if you're interested!

May be a bit late, but Sue's directions are not quite right. Spring Mtn rd goes over the TOP of Industrial; there is no way to turn onto it. You can taKe Industrial south and turn left onto Mel Torme Way. It curves around and then meets Spring Mtn road (stop light). Drive straight across Spring Mtn (when the light is green) and the TI parking garage is on your right.

Now that I've visited LV from 10/13-10/17, I can say that the Terrible's sign is no longer on the Chevron Station on Main Street and so the promotion that I mentioned above is probably not still going on, but who knows.
