Golf?

Five of us from the frozen mid-west are doing a guys trip January 29-February 1.
A couple of the guys are golfers (I am not).

They are looking into playing a course near Aliante Casino which means I could go with them and play DW in the casino while they are banging the ball around.

Has anyone played there or have any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Paul
Aliante has a golf course I played about 8 years ago. It was nice, and a good price but nothing special.

Aliante Golf

If you want a special golf experience for a little bit more money, you cannot beat Paiute. It is a quick 15 minute drive from Aliante and has three GREAT courses that are quite memorable.

Paiute
Thanks very much. I am kind of the Las Vegas guide for our group but not a golfer- the information is greatly appreciated
I agree with Paul Dixon. Piaute is a great golf location and it would be a shame not to try one of those courses out. I believe that the Wolf Course is the best course (... actually the only one I golfed there)

Paiute is an outstanding course. Can get great rates on golf now ( hot deals). All three courses are designed by Pete Dye.
Spend a bit of time, drive to Paiute or better yet Coyote Springs. Those are some of the best courses up that way, all right near the top.

Dye gets the credit but the heavy lifting at Paiute went to Brian Curley.
Ended up at aliante, the golfers enjoyed it but want to try pauite next trip
