GregRio RIP

Joined LVA and the forums in the 90s. Greg helped me out with advice on more than one occassion, especially with the Rio, when I brought my significant other to Vegas for the first time. I never had the fortune of meeting him in person, however I feel like I just got kicked in the gut and am left with an empty space. Rest in Peace Greg, and thank you.......

So sad to hear this. He will be SO missed. Add me to the list of members he gave such great advice to. Never met him in person, but feel as if, like many others, we've lost a dear friend!

Great Man! He helped me alot! I lost my brother in law to cancer when he was 37! Hate the disease!

So sad to hear of his passing! He could be counted on to offer his valuable insight and NEVER insult anyone. Those are clarion qualities. He will be VERY much missed.

I, like thedriz rarely come onto the general or entertainment threads. Thanks to both Westie and Pam for the info. Wow what a guy Greg was and how cool to be that appreciated by so many.

MortyC, you're the 1st person that has said they read the blog I posted a link for (written by Greg's cousin). Thanks for letting me know! I hope others will read the blog - it gives so much more info about Greg we never knew. I found out he was a far more interesting person than I already thought of him. We all lost not only a great source of info but also a very talented person & friend here on the L A message boards!
