Halloween in Las Vegas

I will be in Las Vegas for Halloween and I have two questions (I haven't booked a room yet)
#1 Strip or Fremont street......I favor Fremont street, but don't want to miss something
#2 is there a Halloween party or parade or something...somewhere that should not be missed while I am there?
I have been to Vegas for Christmas--BORING! The damned place barely recognizes the Holiday
I have been to Vegas for St Patty's day although I can only remember highlights!
I have done Motorcycle week in Vegas--cool........ Its a holiday to some people trust me!
I have been to Vegas for New Years----beyond words! This is something everyone should done once!
What can I expect for Halloween??

I was there for Halloween last year and will be there again this year.
Fremont St is a riot and packed with many many costumed characters.
There is a parade that starts in the evening.
Fremont all the way lots more people and then there is this https://www.halloweenball.com/2013-event-info/
Saw plenty of costumed characters on the strip. After awhile we just sat at the food court in the Venetian and thoroughly enjoyed watching them walk by.

In my opinion Halloween is THE Las Vegas Holiday. I don't think any city in the US dresses up and party's on Halloween more than Las Vegas. It is always fun, the people watching is great and, if you are at all tempted to dress up and let your hair down, go for it.

Fremont Street would be my recommendation, but if it is not inconvenient I would also suggest stopping by The Palms after 10 or 11 just to taken in the fantastic variety of costumes of the young crowd that gathers here to go to one of the four separate Halloween parties they put on, each with its own best costume prizes. The lines to get into the clubs wind through the casino so you can just walk on by checking out everyone's costumes. Good for a 30 minute diversion or much longer if you actually want to get into the clubs.
Yes, there has now been for several years a parade in Downtown LV not far from Fremont Street. I have been in LV for Halloween before and Fremont Street definitely has a lot of costumed people that night!

Just booked a flight for Halloween! October 28 to November 1st. Thought I might as well use the free room offers and I got a free flight using airmiles (just have to pay the tax).

I loved it last year on Fremont Street. Lots to see and do.
