Have You Ever Over Imbibed in Vegas?

So true B4E....

Several years ago I tried to migrate from one part of the casino floor to another. After plying myself with several of my namesake drinks 🥃🥃🥃, my cognitive abilities were suitably diminished. I made it half way and plunked my butt down in the middle of the carpet. No one really cared....so I got up and completed the route march.

Oh dear... lol

BAck a few years ago for CES, Western Digital gave a free party with tickets available on Eventbrite (sp). It was held at Tao nightclub. Business casual attire and a large nubmer of people turned away because their footware was not up to par (eg:sneakers or what even might look like a sneaker.)
It was open bar so I had my drink of choice, gin and tonic (Bombay Sapphire) I tipped $2 a drink. I kind of remember they served a buffet. I never lasted long enough 2.5 hours and they still had not done any drawings for hard drives and other WD products.

I kind of remember walking down this small stairwell to get back down to the main casino and asking a security person where to get a cab. All I heard was myself mumbeling, but I do remember arriving at my hotel Circus Circus and going to pay the driver, but he said you already paid me when security helped you get into the cab.

I said ok and gave him a $5 anyhow, I have flashbacks of buying munchies in the giftshop and I have no memory after that. How I got to my room on the 30th floor of the back tower or even how I found my room.

But the good thing is when I woke up the next day, I was alone and all my cards and cash were in my wallet.

I must not have closed the curtains the previous night but I felt like a vampire in the sunlight when I opened my eyes and struggled to get to the window to close the curtains.

Never drank like that in Vegas since :-P

Great story!  Glad you made it back to the room all right.

Since we had a lot of designated drunks, I was the designated driver.
