HELP Anniversary

This may be complicated!

I know why I am an LVA member at times like these....please help....any opinion is a good one!

I have been to Vegas over 90 times and I love it like no other city.

I love to drink and gamble and in 90 visits I have never gone to a show.

I have always wanted my wife to go with me and she has no interest as she doesn't drink or gamble. I have always wanted her to just see the place.

She has decided for our 15th anniversary this year she wants to see hwat it is all about. We will probably head out on April 19-April 21...she will be happy with a few mights and she will miss the kids!

I am looking for ideas on what to do since I have never gone to any shows?

We both love country music so TK's bar Gilleys and the place at Hooter's are options...looking for any other good show ideas etc.?

Please help!
LOVE at the Mirage would be my number 1 choice. Jersey Boys would be a close second, but LOVE is unique to Vegas. It is a fantastic show.

Don't think I'd take your wife to Hooters..............just sayin........

So many great shows. You might want to wander around the Entertainment catergory.
For a show treat her to Mystere. Also you might take her out to one of the outlet malls and treat her to a day at the spa--maybe a couple's treatment. Also take her to see the conservatory and chocolate fountains. Take a day trip out to Red Rock and don't forget a nice romantic dinner somewhere. Fill her days and nights and she might not miss the kids to much.

I get all the romance stuff.....Hooters was only for the Country bar.

My wife and I are very simple...she is not into spa's or hity toity dinners...trying to think of interesting shows and fun things to see.....Will probably show her the places I hang out a lot and was just wondering opinion on shows or other things people might like to see or find interesting if they have never been out there.
Well the Bellagio Fountains are a sure thing must see. As far as a show if you like country and Garth is there when you are he does a great show.
Some other shows to consider Le Reve, O and Love.
If you like country music, you'll love Stoney's. They even have dance lessons there. Check it out at http://stoneysrockincountry.com

I saw country Superstars tribute show at the Golden nugget a couple of months back and really liked it. My wife who is a big country fan loved it. Everyone else in the audiance was clapping and seemed to be having a good time also.

The best part was is cost like $35 and included the golden nugget Buffet!

Go to the entertainment link in LVA and search for country superstars and the whole story should be there.

Good Luck weggie
Hi tslate,

If you want some good old hokey fun in the afternoon, go see Mac King at Harrah’s. He does a lot of audience participation tricks and the show makes a nice hour and a half break from the high speed action. There’s a coupon for the show in the MRB.
