Although I’ve been to Vegas far less than you (maybe 20 times), I’m way ahead on the show count. Here are some of my favorites and why:
“Jubilee” at Bally’s…the last big-production showgirl show in town. It’s over-the-top, cheesy, and uniquely Vegas. Beautiful costumes. It’s been running for almost thirty years. The late show is topless.
“O” at Bellagio or “Mystere” at TI. Both are fantastic Cirque shows, with “O” getting higher marks from me for sheer awesomeness. “Mystere” is a much cheaper ticket though and is also impressive. "
“Mac King” at Harrahs. Cheap, fun entertainment…great sleight of hand. Mac is hilarious and really, really talented.
Non-show entertainment that’s either cheap or free:
The Dueling Pianos at the bar at Harrahs
Gilley’s at TI (yes, they have a mechanical bull)
Big Elvis at Bill’s Gambling Hall
Bellagio Conservatory and fountains
Of course, if there's a headliner playing that you both love, that would make your trip especially memorable.
Have fun and Happy Anniversary!
