Artisan Hotel in Vegas charges $3.95 for energy surcharge
thats in addition to the $19.95 resort fee (why not just charge a $24 resort fee)
If you aren't familiar with the Artisan Hotel its a goth themed casino over by Palace Station. They have a popular after hours club that parties until the sun comes up.
Lets see if this gets adopted by anyone else
Next will be metered toilets. Any flushes exceeding one per day will be billed at $5 each. Because, y'know, water shortage.

My wife and I ate at their restaurant a couple times ago years ago. I didn't realize they had gaming.
