i need drink ideas for when i'm so sick of my normal imbibes

If you want an adventure, order a brandy old fashion. In Wisconsin everyone drinks them. In Las Vegas the bartenders haven't a clue. I have been servered some very strange drinks with that order. Once I had one served in a shot glass.
I'm not sure we came up the name or we had actually heard it somewhere before but I've always like the Energy Drink and Vodka mix - most casinos seem to only have Monster as opposed to Red Bull.... so we started drinking a "Mon-Goose" - which is Monster and Grey Goose Vodka.

Itll keep you awake but its a good change of pace - probably not the healthiest of choices but then again drinking non-stop for 3 or 4 days isnt' either!
Here is one I tried on my recent trip to Las Vegas; Irish Quallude:
Ingredients
1 shot Bailey's Irish Cream
1 shot frangelico
1 shot vodka
1 shot creme de cacao white

I thought it was really good!
MAI TAIS=SLEEPY TIME

I decided to go with Bloody Marys for this next trip. At least I will get some sort of semi-healthy liquid to counteract all the liquor I will drink.

Some olives (vegetable for the day!)would be nice too.....

Second choice is a dry vodka martini..

*be careful with the Negroni's .... lot of bartenders don't have a clue what they are...I've had some awful ones.
I like the Bloody Mary's at Paris/Bally's. It's a great way to start the day.

I like the Margaritas at Tre Rios at the Hilton. Also like that i can take the tram back to my hotel. After a few large "Feelgoods" its best not to drive!
Happy Hour at the Tez two lemon drops for $7.50 every day 5:00PM to7:00PM all bars.
When I am at the Bellagio, I like ordering Cable Cars. I believe this drink originated here, but it has gotten popular enough that most bartenders around town should know how to make one (certainly at any of the MGM properties). If not, here is the receipe:

1 oz Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum
1/2 oz Orange Curacao
1/2 oz lime juice
1/2 oz Sour Mix

Put in a shaker with ice, shake well then pour through a strainer into a chilled glass, ideally a glass with a cinnamon sugar rim. Add an orange twist.

Thats a Cable Car. Not to be confused with a Side Car.
I didnt make up the name so don't complain, but one of our new favorites is a "slippery nipple" shot. Its made with 1/2 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps, 1/2 oz.Baileys Irish Cream and a little whip cream on top. Its very good.
