Iraq,Afghanistan Veteran free room offer

I have a certificate good for two free nights at Paris Las Vegas [sun-thurs.] that I would like to donate to an Iraq or Afghanistan veteran. If you were wounded, you go to the top of the list.Just my way of saying thanks for all your sacrifices. This small gesture doesn't begin to repay you for all that you have done, but maybe a couple nights in Vegas will be a nice escape from the every day hum drum. The certificate is good until September 29. Send me a private message if you are interested. I will decide in a week or so who the lucky person is,and I will send you out the certificate. Private message me only,ASAP. Thanks, Bob
That is very nice of you. Thank you from all of us with loved ones serving and those serving.
As a MOM (Mother of a Marine), I thank you for your support. I only wish others would value our military instead of trying to knock it down the way they do.

Jesus, does everything around here have to take a POL turn?

Nice gesture, Bob. And I think ALL of us need to do random acts of kindness for whomever. Takes a whole lot of people pulling on the oars of America to make it go, not just service personnel.

As the wife of a marine and daughter of a retired army soldier, I understand all too well the sacrifices that military service people (and their families) make to ensure all the freedoms the citizens of this wonderful country enjoy.

To everyone that makes a kind gesture to a service person - thank you and God bless you for supporting our men and women in our military.
As a MILM (Mother-in-Law of a Marine) I think your gesture is fantastic! What a great way to say "thanks."

If more people did these kinds of random acts of kindness, no matter who they are aimed at, the world would be a better place!

Ken,

Since when did supporting our troops become a political thing? I guess in your mind it is.
You brought up the matter of "value." I just happen to think that all who serve their nation, in uniform or not, are valued.
Those in uniform keep us free. Those in the govt just get paid more
I think you just made Ken's point that you were trying to politicize this thread. Lol
