Is it just me.........

..... or do the last 7 days, before you depart for Vegas, seem like the looooongest 7 days of the year??

After waiting for the final 7 days to arrive it now seems like the days are suddenly getting longer...and longer..and longer. Almost like I have an ache in the bottom of my stomach when I think about the fact that it is still 3 days left till departure..

Oh well ... 3 days and 40 minutes to take off. I guess it could be worse!

Well for me, Champ, it just makes me happier that the time is finally here for me to get away and have a nice time. With me, by the time the last days come, I am definitely ready to take a break from my work to get some good rest, have some fun and see some people!

And I do what I can to make sure that I have everything that I need for the trip (including all necessary playing strategy charts and coupons) and that I'm the most up-to-date on what promotions are going on that I should know about! Plus I also make sure to get my hands on the Freebie magazines because you never know what may be in them which might make me do something that I wasn't expecting (if the offer is appealing enough).

So have a safe, fun and profitable trip!

I just mark off each day on my calendar, 5 days to go for me. I am staying downtown for the first 3 nights then over to the Orleans for 6 nights. Then I go to Biloxi MS for a week. So It just makes me nuts the last week.

Then the last 24 hours seem to go almost too fast as you start packing , getting southwest airlines tickets, and trying get people on schedule to drop you off at the airport, etc

T- 1 day and 5 hours. Loongest day of the year. Maybe i'll check to see what SWA seat number I got!!

Sounds like we are both in town at the same time! Ill be at Palace Station from Friday (tommorrow) to Monday then Ballys Monday to Friday then Red Rock Friday till Sunday. Maybe we can meet somewhere??

Maybe i'll post something in member meets to see who else is in town, if you are game!!
