Is Super Bowl in Vegas REALLY crowded?

It's a different kind of busy. The Super Bowl brings in sports diehards so the sportsbooks are insanely busy for three days. The clientele that week tends to be sports fans in general so all of horse racing, pro and college basketball, etc. gets an enormous amount of action in the days leading up to the big game. Places were you can walk up and grab a beer or two easily are packed as well. However, I have found dinner reservations easy to come by. It's not a dining crowd, per se.
We did it once did not seem that bad at all. This was back when it was a lot easier for them to have super bowl parties. I agree it is calmer then when march madness is going on.

Doubt my Pat's will make it that far but I'm looking to come out Saturday night Feb 4th and might spent the time at the Gold Coast's Red Zone. Spent Sunday Dec 11th there and really liked how low-key it was. I'm sure it will be much busier for "The Big Game" but the beers were cheap and the site lines were good.
