IS TERRIBLES HOTEL TERRIBLE?

The way I see it. You get what you pay for. But, how much time are you going to spend in your room? You don't go to Vegas to stay in your room.

Their diner, The Bouganville Cafe, is one of the best in Vegas. I highly recommend you eat there instead of the buffet. The food comes in large portions, high quality, and very reasonable prices.

What's wrong with Reege? I actually made the trip to a casino a couple of hours north of me to go see him in person. I was -- by far -- the youngest person in the room, but it was a great show.

I read a lengthy review (with pictures) of the hotel on the Wizard of Vegas site (here) -- hopefully that should help the original poster.

Pleasantly surprised with our Terrible's standard room a couple years ago.
One correction to a previous post - the breakfast buffet no longer has the omelet station.

I've stayed there a few times. It's a 3-story square motel-type building with a courtyard/pool in the center. Inside the building, you can enter at the NW corner (by the hotel desk) or at the NE corner (by the slot club). The is also at least one entrance on the ground level from the parking lot.

What is "the tower"?


The tower is 6 or 7 floors. The old part is 3 stories and surrounds the pool area on 3 sides the tower is on the 4th side. If you have never stayed in the tower you would have no idea that it is newer. You can't access from the old part.

The towers are connected on the floors that they have in common. In other words, of course on the 6th floor of the new tower you cannot get to the 6th floor in the old tower, because there is no 6th floor in that tower. But where they share floors, they are connected.
