Kevin doesn't recognize the fact that mask wearing crushes business. People don't enjoy their visits to businesses as much while wearing a mask, so fewer people tend to go places when masks are required.
An interesting note. Am I the only one who has watched the Liberal media early on mostly report death data, and now they've moved on to mostly reporting case data? There not enough deaths to scare the public, so they needed to move on to a different storyline.
Henny-Penny, the sky really isn't going to fall.
Boilerman, you are kidding, right? The sky still IS falling. "People don't enjoy their visits to businesses as much while wearing a mask, so fewer people tend to go places when masks are required." That's crap.
I'm a "people" and I tolerate just fine going everywhere with a mask...stores, fast food places, even airplanes. It is my own relatives I'm leery of. If a business doesn't have a "mask required" sign on the door, I wear a mask inside anyway. I know, yay me.
I found out through the grapevine (after the fact, unfortunately) that some of my own relatives have rejected the vaccine (oh, yeah, and they love Trump and believe the election was stolen...on and on), and they don't believe in masks either. That made me realize we cannot count on those we socialize with having taken precautions. I trust the Walmart environment more than I trust being in a room with my own cousins.
Masks are effective. Otherwise, why would I and my colleagues have worn masks when in the OR or attending to patients with certain communicable diseases (it was policy, but they didn't have to twist our arms), or every time I put a patient on and off dialysis (central lines, needle insertion, etc.)? The mask protects the patient from us and us from the patient.
