Las Vegas casino culture suffers rejection by gamblers of younger generations

Not forgotten. Obvious.

With Washington DC forcing American families to pay $2,400 more in tariff-induced inflation this year, Uncle Sam profits.

$2,400 in new inflation means fewer trips to Vegas.

You don't have to be a drooling Trump lap dog and mindlessly defend every awful thing he does.

The "dynamic revenues" WILL BE PAID BY AMERICAN HOUSEHOLDS.

Idiot.

BC is heaven in the summer. I advise any visitors to not wear anything that overtly states that they're from the US. Canadians are much too polite to say anything...but it would be like visiting Israel while wearing a swastika.

Americans are our neighbours. We love them!!  And need them to come and visit.  I just feel bad for our U.S. border towns now.  They are really suffering.

Yeah, especially if there's no particular reason for people to go to a town except to cross the border. I've heard, though, that even places like Bellingham have taken a big hit. And on our southern border, visitation and tourism are way down as well.

The really bad part is that the Turd could have started his trade war without being such an asshole to Canada. Tariffs are one thing, but talking about forcibly annexing a nation is another. At least, all this crap is temporary; the Turd won't be around much longer and even a subsequent Republipig administration won't maintain the nonsense.

    (1) There was no "forcibly annexing"- which is defined here- " Annexation is the formal act of one country taking control of another country's territory and asserting sovereignty over it, through force or the threat of force. It involves incorporating that territory into the annexing country's own domain, effectively making it part of their existing state". (2) The need for tariffs with Canada are indisputable - at least in the minds of sane people. The Canadian government will eventually engage in fair trade with America by removing the unfair tariffs they have imposed on American goods for decades. (3) - President Trump will remain President until the end of his term. After that, Republicans will retain the White House. (4) In the meantime, the "swamp" will continue to be drained and tariffs will remain in effect until America has fair trade with all of the nations in the world.

You are so right Kevin. It's Trump's attitude that really turns off Canadians.  It's as if we are second class citizens.  I just read that Quebecers are not going to Florida anymore and that is a huge population that called Florida their second home for half the year, going back decades.

That is truly amazing. President Trump's "attitude" turns off Canadians. Notwithstanding the reason for his "attitude" is that he has called out Canada for the decades of unfair trade and exorbitant tariffs that Canada has imposed on American goods  - which apparently hurts Canadians "feelings". No one has called or classified Canadians as "second class citizens" - unless that is the rhetoric being implied by the Canadian media. The unfairness of trade with Canada is the topic, and will eventually be settled. In the meantime, Canadian visitors are only hurting themselves by boycotting Vegas and Florida.

I am still going to Las Vegas, as much as ever.  Will be heading down in 2 weeks.

However, a lot of my friends and family are heading to Mexico and Europe now for vacations.

Once the Canadien winter sets in the Canucks will be back.

Interesting historical sidenote.  In the war of 1812 the US invaded Canada several times, but even with superior numbers they bungled the job.  Canada could have been part of the US

Uhhh, Tom, my boy...the US has never invaded Canada. Canada wasn't a country in 1812. A "Canadien" (your spelling, lol) would know that basic historical fact. That's an illustration of one thing Canadians find irritating about Americans... their ignorance of basic facts about Canada. That leads to Americans dismissing Canada and, like recently...politicians treating them as second-class on the world stage. Like a big fat orange wannabe dictator saying he wants to annex them...or a gang of idiots saying that our trillions in mutual trade is somehow "unfair."

That's OK, though. Canadians have plenty of other places to visit.
