Low rollers no longer wanted in Vegas

We have decided that one trip to Vegas every. 12-18 months is probably enough. Very equal gaming within a couple hundreds of miles for us. We are diamond thru our visits to Council Bluffs so, we can get free rooms and parking at Caesars properties in vegas. Going to stay at Planet Hollywood for 3 nights. Love the Cosmo and Aria, but with their parking and resort fees we will just stay at PH and walk across the street to them. Also staying on comps downtown at Downtown Grand and Plaza.

Low rollers are not wanted in SOME casinos. An example, last year I stayed one night at the Aria and I stayed one night at Ellis Island. The Aria emailed me a survey after the stay. I received a phone call from an Ellis Island casino host the day after the stay. That's a big difference!

We go two to three times a year, usually for 5 days each time, and have no shortage of room offers from The Boyd Casinos (usually stay at the Orleans), or from the Tuscany or Westgate.  We play a good amount, so we get decent free play and plenty of comped rooms.  We enjoy the off the strip places and expect some good offers from the SLS in the near future.

The only problem with Boyd is that if you win big, they cut off your free play.

For example, my wife won $1000 on a penny slot, and her usual $10.00 wasn't included in her comped rooms.

When she emailed Boyd about not receiving her offer, they told her that because she won big, she doesn't need the free play.

Which casino was that?  I've not encountered that.

That was the Orleans.

"they told her that because she won big she doesn't need the free play."

Unbelievable!  Talk about penny wise and pound foolish.  Even moreso that they put it in writing!  And add insult to injury by telling her how much free play she "needs".   Damn!

I'd have to quit 'em, after I wrote a smokin' letter to the GM.  Glad you took them for the 1K.

I won 5 grand at MSS and it hasn't changed my offers in the least.

Ditto here. Hit 2 royals at orleans last year and the offers are still the same. However recent changes in the Bconnected program looks like the Orleans and Boyd will be getting less of my action in October!
