The $280 worth of free bets makes the coupon book a must buy for every Vegas goer. I'll never return to Vegas without having a rental car. Top of Binions Steakhouse was closed and that is a must visit with the 25% coupon. Their scallops are wicked delicious and they honored the coupon fully even when one of my clients picked up the $400+ bill a few years ago.

We went with the SAS package for about $200 per person. It was fun to compete with my wife and showing her that there are a few things I can still do better than her. It went by fast with only about 30 minutes of range time. We will hang our targets in our basement. Their staff was professional and friendly.

Luckily we live on east coast time with the early LV departure to Temple Bar, Arizona. We made the journey from Temple Bar Marina to Hoover Dam and back in our rental, stopping at Calville Bay along the way.
The Nevada marinas sold our of their boat rentals, so we had to venture out further to find a marina to rent to us. The Arizona side had calmer waters and numerous coves to choose from, but the Nevada side has more marinas to visit and the historic dam.

Another day of casino hopping, great food and hanging in the shade near the pool.
Hotel review
The West Gate pool was spacious and not terribly crowded like downtown pools. The room was nice too. The big issue we had with the hotel (besides those dirty resort fees) was the sheer size of the property. Our room was on the very end of the north tower and it could take 10-15 minutes to walk to our car in the outer part of the parking lot. Several elevators, including the ones closest to our room and the north parking garage, were shut down.
Parking wasn't the greatest either. Out of the 4 days, I'd estimate went spent 1.5 hours looping around the huge property, having to circle the lot again to save my wife the walk and picking her up and dropping her off out front.
All in all, it was another fabulous trip to one of our favorite cities in the world. Get a coupon book, rental car and a hotel with a nice, big pool and enjoy your trip to Sin City!!!
