Man returns $10,000 found at airport

Wonderful story, and the fact he Deposited FOR the man who lost it..........2 days before Christmas.
Wow, I hope that Caesars winner sends a big Thank You card to that HONEST man, with a token
of his gratitude.

On the other hand........while at the McCarran Airport...........TSA still fighting crime, by making a
woman with a Cupcake Throw it out because the Frosting might be considered a GEL.........
I swear the Keystone cops would be better TSA in Vegas.
I don't know- if on a losing trip coming back home.. I would've had the strength to return those envelopes-I would've thought "Score! That's a lot of luca.
- I know TB would have.
I mean..it's a busy airport...with people coming and going.. God bless him.
The guy didn't realize that there was money inside the two envelopes until he got home.

Something JDLR (just doesn't look right) here.

I mean, who picks up two (apparently sealed) Casino Logo envelopes,
with I'm guessing $5K in hundreds in each (that's 50 bills in each),
which does make the envelopes a little weighty, firm and thick, and then he doesn't open them,

......... but waits until he gets home. ???????

.... just sayin'

Rick

Hey, I wouldn't turn it into the Keystone cops either!

They'd be doing a happy dance, and luca would be a goner too.

I'm guessin Mr. Colorado wanted some time to THINK about it, and decided to make an example
of right thing to do for his kids, when he got home.

Oh, the cynicism. It's Christmastime. Give the guy a break.
Bet his wife made him give it back.....after watching No Country For Old Men. lol
Congrats to the man for returning it no matter what the reason! The guy who lost it had to be in a very sad state when he realized he lost it. I'm sure he'll be a lot more careful next time.

I for one, tend to lose things all the time. I think I definitly would return it as I know how it feels to lose something and actually have someone return it.

He probably waited to see if someone would say they lost it. You probably wouldn't want to say, hey I found this money, did anyone lose it? Could you see the line, lol!

I would have asked for a check!
Vegas being what it is, the cynic in me would not have picked up the envelope and immediately turned it into airport security; especially with that amount of money involved. He did what I would have done; contact the authorities after getting home and give it my best shot that the rightful owner would claim the money. I make a good living, but 10 grand is a considerable amount of change...I couldn't in good conscience keep it ...wouldn't be able to sleep a night. What ever he was thinking about, this guy did the right thing in the end. Good for him.
