More TV Shows Going To Las Vegas -- LVA QODs 10/3 and 10/4/2013

Hey Group,

I sent the LVA Powers-That-Be information about three more shows that went to Las Vegas. I remember an additional episode of "The Beverly Hillbillies" that I only saw a small part of. From the information that I have, it was Episode 33 of Season 3 (1964/1965) called "Jed, the Bachelor" which aired June 9, 1965 (Production Code 3-33). It says "Granny Visits Las Vegas And Has Quite A Story To Tell." What I remember of it was that she walked to Las Vegas and I remember her saying something to the effect that she saw these "Moving Pictures" machines. She put a coin in and all she "ended up with was a bunch of lame fruit!" I came in on the episode and something caused me to go away from it. So I haven't seen all of it myself.

Then I remember that two ABC shows -- "The Drew Carey Show" and "Coach" on the same night (it originally aired on both shows on February 26, 1997) having major characters from each show (Drew and Luther) together at the same Craps table. The Drew Carey Show was Season 2, Episode 18 called "Drew Gets Married" and the Coach show was Season 9, Episode 15 called "Viva Las Ratings" where Luther travels to Las Vegas for an Elvis Memorabilia Auction.

Hey Group,

I found this Beverly Hillbillies episode (with Granny walking to Las Vegas) on Youtube. So go to Youtube and then in the Search Function type in "Beverly Hillbillies -- Jed, the Bachelor" and you'll see it. I think that it's not bad!

Enjoy!

Edited To Add: I wasn't far off with my recollection of what I had seen with Granny's commentary about Las Vegas. Check it out, I think that it's a decent episode and it has some shots of what appears to be a casino as well as a sign for McCarren Airport.
Hey Group,

The episode of the Beverly Hillbillies that the LVA mentioned in their answer to the LVA QOD 10/3/2013 with Mr. Farguhar was incorrectly listed as from Season 2, Episode 13. It is Episode 13, but it's Season 4 instead of Season 2. This is a Color episode and color episodes did not start happening until Season 4 of the show.

This show is also viewable on Youtube. You can go to Youtube and type in "The Beverly Hillbillies -- Mr. Farguhar Stays On" to see it. Once you get to it, you will see in the information posted that this episode is from Season 4.

And this episode did not show Las Vegas although it did mention it.
