My opinion only!!

This is my opinion only but throwing it out there. Really does the Golden Gate Shrimp really deserve the #3 spot in the LV Top Ten Values. Over the years the pirce has doubled and yet it remains in the #3 spot????? Unlike the Casino Royal beer remains at a $1.00 daily the Shrimp has increased in price and still ranks #3. No big deal because I do not like the small shrimp at the Golden Gate. Value to some yes but no #3 in Value. Any thoughts.
Well they do give you crackers too

Shrimpy shrimp $1.99 + EpiPen $64.95 = not here
When the price went up, so did the size of the shrimp. They no longer use the tiny shrimp.

The 2-for-1 coupon usually offered on the Fremont St coupon sheet makes it a good deal.

Even at $2, that snack is definitely one of the 10 best tourist values in Vegas. For something comparable in any other city in the country, I'd expect to pay at least $6, maybe $8.

What better deal should replace it?
As I said, my opinion only. But $1.99 shrimp being one of the top ten best deals I just wanted to see if I could get other opinions. I wanted to see if others would pop up to challenge the shrimp being #3. To me I don't care for the deal.

I found it 'very" easy to get a "free" coupon (comp) for shrimp cocktail at the craps tables there. I was given one just for buying in at a craps table (played for an hour, broke even). After I played, I ate my free shrimp cocktail while watching one of the best shows on Fremont street, the blackjack dealers & dancers at the Golden Gate! (Grrrrr!)

I have to say it was well worth it. Wished it ranked higher on the bargin table.
When a shrimp cocktail saves you less than what many people tip a valet, is it really one of the best bargains in Las Vegas? To me in sheer dollar savings aka (value), the Big Elvis show or Show in the sky at the RIO along with the Flair Bartenders is more worthy of the Top TEN. Just because they are free, worth seeing and probably have a dollar savings of at least $10 per person or more.
