Negotiations between casinos and employees

We were in Las Vegas September 17 through the September 24th. I was talking to a few employees and they mentioned somehting about maybe a strike was looming....I wanted to know if the contact was a done deal......I heard many of the employees very uphappy and were upset with management in some casinos....Some i tlaked to said they hoped everything was ok they said they cannot afford a strike.....We are scheduled to go to Las Vegas 100/29----11/5 and wanted to know if there was any head way in to a contract signing or if it was settled...... I would honor any type of picket line but would much rather see everything settled....If anyone has heard what's going please post a reply............
Maybe it is my mistake. It could have just been talk from a few unhappy employess........No big deal. If I'm the only one who has even heard of a potential strike mentioned .........the only reason was just asking since we were out there the year Binion's locked their door the last time this occurred...........I will as under the staff's section to see if they have heard anything about a possible strike in the near furutre or even if talks are going on........Sorry on first message I had the wrong dates listed our dates are 10/29-----11/5........I did edit the correct dates in into first message this morning......
Well the LVSUN ran a video on some Culinary Union Memebers throwing insults towards Cosmopolitan guest...in the first one they have megaphones and all calling guests JERKS and LOSERS the second one they are calling guests Beached Whales and Retards.....this IMOO this is the wrong approach...In fact I'm very surprised that one of the guests did not knock someone on their ass......it is one thing is to walk with signs and protest but another thing to actually insult people.....this video appeared in the LVSUN.COM today......
For all the years that the strike at the Frontier went on, we put up with the insults from the Culinary idiots outside. We simply ignored them and walked on by. The hotel and casino remained open throughout.

Well, that IS what strikers do to discourage patronage, strong-arm the business financially and hope management will cave to their demands.

If you want to go inside just keep walking, don't make eye contact, don't taunt them back, and for God's sake don't assault them (which they would like so they can sue you). If you are in sympathy with the cause stay away and play elsewhere.
