New Info On Baker (Death Valley) World's Tallest Thermometer On Show "Strange Inheritance"

On Fox Business Channel and at times on Fox News Channel (including on early Sunday morning, 3/15/15 at 12:30AM Pacific Time) is a show called "Strange Inheritance" and the episode about the thermometer in Baker, CA (which is about 90 Miles South of Las Vegas -- it's between Barstow and the Nevada Border) is called "Death Valley Thermometer." I saw the last 10 minutes of the show.....it was pretty good

Although I know that this thermometer was mentioned elsewhere here, I'm for some reason not finding it except for a very brief mention in one of the LVA QODs.

And so from what information that I saw from this "Strange Inheritance" show, the family who originally put this thermometer up has now been able to re-take the site (they also had owned several gas stations, hotels and I think stores in Baker as well as the famous Bun Boy Restaurant).

Wasn't the Thermometer on Clark Griswold's itinerary in one of the Vacation movies?

Or maybe I'm thinking of "the world's second largest ball of twine"?
