Hey Group,
I read an article which might be found online (hopefully this link will work) at https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/personalfinance/10-states-where-taxes-are-going-up/ss-AAcmhOu?ocid=mailsignout that mentioned that in Nevada, taxes have either gone up or are now not expiring and another one is going up effective October 1st.
First, it says that taxi passengers including UBER users are now seeing a 3% exise tax on all fares;
Second, the Cigarette Tax goes up One Dollar to $1.80 per pack;
Third, most venues with live entertainment (this one begins on October 1st) will have to charge a 9% Ticket Tax instead of a Sliding Scale of 5% to 10%.
Plus a 0.35% Sales Tax boost that was due to expire has become permanent.
So again, try https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/personalfinance/10-states-where-taxes-are-going-up/ss-AAcmhOu?ocid=mailsignout

P.S. -- The article which came out at the end of June, 2015, also talks about nine other states where taxes have already gone up or are going up, so check that out!
