One thing you cannot wait to do

After our LONG straight through drive from Calgary Cananda 18hours + thankfully we have a hybrid Camary...less stops. Turns into about 20hrs total.... Once checked into the FITZ( for the Keno tourney) I'd never stay there and have to pay for my room!

**** head down to the Keno lounge and order my first drink Double Rye and Ginger...like cheers they know you by name and know what you drink!***


After that it's 12 days of FUN!

As soon as I can get my clothes unpacked and hung up after checking in, If I'm staying on the Strip or DT, I always take a quick walk to all the places nearby that I plan on spending my time at just to see if those places have changed any, or maybe not open etc. I plan this little route out in my head each trip before arriving.

It's impossible to choose just one. I love the first glimpse of th strip from the plane, stepping out of the gate and seeing the slot machines, first free cocktail at the bar. God I love Vegas! Only 76 hours to go for this guy.

Ditto all the comments about the skyline from the plane . . . then the show promos in the airport . . . once I have the rental car and am on the road towards my 1st destination, that's it for me.

turning off s las vegas blvd and missing the traffic. Pulling into the sports book lot at the LVH, cashing my miami heat ticket after they win.
Cashing my cubs win the NL pennant later this year?
