Passover 2011 In Las Vegas

For any of you who are interested in spending some or all of Passover 2011 (which starts on Monday night, April 18th) in Las Vegas, from what I understand, there are three choices:

1). If you want Seders (Passover Meals with the reading of the Haggadah) only, Chabad Of Southern Nevada seems to be offering Seder Meals at five locations. You can get more information or (I think) make reservations through the www.chabadlv.org website;

2). There is a place that not only offers full Passover stay packages for up to 10 days, but you can also be there for one night only. This is being held at Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas. The first 50 kids Aged 6-12 (although this offer has now been on for a while -- about 2 months or so, so check it out) are FREE and kids 5 and under are Always Free.

To check this out, try calling 323-933-4044 or go to www.passoverresorts.com ;

And your third option seems to be at Loews Lake Las Vegas (this is put on by World Wide Kosher [under the strictest Orthodox Rabbinical supervision]).

For more information, you can call 323-525-0015 or 800-525-0035 or go to www.mypassover.com

Can I spread lamb's blood around the door at my hotel room?
Thanks for the info. Invaluable to those that need it. You can always count on Chabad.

There is no Ritz-Carlton at Lake Las Vegas. It closed a long time ago and recently reopened under new ownership with a new name, Ravella. https://www.ravellavegas.com/property-overview/property-overview.asp?_vsrefdom=DRAV-ppc

The ad that I saw (in a Jewish magazine in Los Angeles) for this Passover Package did not call it Ravella At Lake Las Vegas but it just said The Former Ritz-Carlton and so I thought I might make it easier for people to understand that it was being held at that site.

The site where the information about that Passover Package is is at: https://www.passoverresorts.com

I thought that I should give people around here leeway to get arrangements made with some time to spare (hopefully).

Oh and I forgot to add (and give those interested a heads-up) that I'm pretty sure that for anyone who wants to go the Chabad route, you will likely have to pay in advance -- I don't think that they will take money at the door since it will already be the holiday and Chabad (at least as far as I know) is not known for accepting money on Sabbath or on Major Jewish Holidays.
