Pastry Chef

Grand daughter is coming for a visit in mid June. I have heard of chef shows on occasion in the past. As she has a desire to pursue a career as a pastry chef wondered if there was anything I could do with her to related to her interest.
I wonder if Freed's Bakery might be a good place to visit? I know they make tons of elaborate wedding type cakes each day and have many on display. They also sell "wedding cake" by the slice. Might be a good field trip combined with a yummy snack!

Or what about the place with the chocolate fountain at Bellagio?

**Disclaimer, I haven't been to either of these places.

Have a great trip! How lovely to be able to spend time with your granddaughter.

The School of Pastry Design is the place to go. www.theschoolofpastrydesign.com/chris-hanmer The school is in a building along with www.chefrubber.com This store sells all kinds of things related to Baking. You will probably spend the better part of a day there. Pastry DesignChef Rubber
