every time we go on a trip, i send a basic itinerary to the select few who need to know where we'll be -- including a couple of our neighbors. i always end with the question 'anyone need anything from _______, let me know'.
so last july when we were going to vegas, our neighbor asked if we'd be going by the pawn shop and if so would we get him a t-shirt. i didn't know what he was talking about - so looked it up online and put it on our to do list. i started asking friends/family if they knew about the show and i was amazed at how many people watched it. they were pretty amazed that i had not a clue about it. i guess i was living under a rock or something.
anyway -- we got in mid-day on a friday, drove right up, parked and walked in. a number of taxis were in and out of the parking lot. we looked around a few minutes, attempted to buy a shirt (no xls that day) and left. seems like we just hit it a good time. we drove by on monday morning and there was long line.
it was interesting - but i still haven't watched the show.
fans will like it, non-fans won't give a hoot.
