Pawn stars Question

Stopped by during the week on our last visit. It was not overly busy but busy. No real TV stars when we present. They do have some interesting items, if you time it is worth the stop.
We stopped in kind of late in the day last October. No stars in the house. The spouse asked a clerk about the chances of seeing the Old Man - what would be the best time of day to come back. Believe the clerk told her that he had undergone some surgery, or something like that, and wouldn't be around for a bit.

Later that night, we're making the move from the Fremont to GN and I spot Corey posing with the Street Poser Guys. Look to my side - Chumlee walks right by me.

We continue down the street, and in the entry to the Fremont we see Rick and the Old Man - who, I could only imagine - had made a miraculous recovery from surgery in the last couple hours.

I would guess they must have been down there for some photo-shoot of some sort. As to the Old Man's suggested surgery - - I don't know - - he was all duded up in that suit he wears and looked about as healthy as he normally does more or less!

Wouldn't think she told the wife a little white lie about his health - - I'm quite sure it's nothing but the honest skippy in there!
We have stopped in a couple of times with familythat wanted to see the place. It is smaller than it looks on TV and I have at times seen a line of people waiting to get in. We have never seen any of the folks in the shop. The last time we were there they were asking people to leave because they were getting ready to film. As we pulled out the parking lot we passed the Old Man in his car.
