PEDESTRIAN DEATHS

Nevada does not allow texting or using cell phones while driving. Pedestrian deaths are increasing. Maybe a law should be enforced about texting and/or cell phones should be outlawed while walking. Can't tell you how often I observe someone crossing the street and paying more attention to their phones than the traffic around them.

Yeah, well, that's a joke. It's outlawed here too but that doesn't seem to be stopping anybody. Must be the "fine but it doesn't apply to me" mentality.

You're right, though, nobody can walk without their nose in their phone.
Yes, I just saw this the other day in Los Angeles while I was driving with my parents. There was a guy crossing the street at the signal who was just completely engrossed with his device which he was typing on while he was crossing a major street!

I said to my folks that that was just crazy and dangerous and was just an accident waiting to happen!

I think people seem to be distracted a lot in Las Vegas. Especially the many people who cross streets with signals against the lights (I see this most especially on LV Blvd. at the casinos).
