ive been watching videos posted by people visiting now and taking in all the restrictions (which I fully approve of, BTw) ...it just looks lame. No shows. No buffets. No sports. No socializing with the stranger next to you at the craps table.
Vegas is is defined by its energy and adrenaline. Those two things are missing right now.
part of me wants to go just to help stimulate business at some of my favorite places. But another part of me wants to remodel my bathroom. Leaning towards the latter.
Remod the bathroom sounds good. You'll have something to show for the money. Plus you'll be helping those you do business with...Home Depot? Lowe's? Your corner hardware store?
Stay home and work on home.
I'm planning to cement work in my back yard. Dig dirt,dig more dirt. Rent a small excavator for $300 a day, next week.

As you implied, the experience just won't be the same. So yeah, remodel the bathroom instead. For one thing, you may need a nice place to puke if Trump wins in November.
