Protecting ypur money?

When you take a lot of cash to vegas, do you feel safe with putting in the hotel room safe? our are you like me and hide somewhere else in the room. I feel like the safe would be the target if someone would break in to the room, or the cleaning lady would try and help herself. so my thought is that any would be burglar would think my cash was in the safe, so instead I hide somewhere else.. just wondering on some of your thoughts on this, or any tricks you may do to secure your gambling funds while your out.
The safe is the most secure place in your room there is no other place that cannot be discovered. If you don't feel the safe is adequate use a safe deposit box near the front desk.
I use the safe.
I do a bit of hiding myself, but with big wins?
I either ask for Check please........or drive/take taxi-- to BofA & make a deposit.
I usually make a Deposit of wins, or any leftover funds, before I fly home anyway.

I always use the safe. I'd be worried hiding it somewhere in the room. Has anybody ever heard of anyone having their safe robbed?
I have never heard of anyone having problems but i stay in the nicer hotels. I use the safe.
Before we lived in Las Vegas, and we used to visit, as soon as we got here, I hid my money in the slot machines. It seemed very safe there because nobody was able to get their hands on it!

Good one
I have a special Vegas debit account with US Bank so I don't have to carry alot. What I do carry, usually 2k or so, I keep in several places on my bod.
The ATM withdrawal receipts also help in an audit.
Big wins are depositied ASAP.
I guess the safe is the best place, but I have read trip reports in the past were people have had there safes robbed, I don't remember if this was in vegas though. and they might have been the safes with a key I think I would trust the digital ones more.
