Question for traveling diabetics

In my experience.... no problem whatsoever. Even wearing an insulin pump and going through the scanner X-Ray, doesn't cause much issues at all. At first, I was told that I had to bring a doctors note saying I have permission to have these products. I haven't carried that note for at least 15 years and I travel about 5-10 times a year.

I had no problems. Just carried all of my prescriptions in their original containers in case TSA looked at them. Went through Pre-check in a breeze and was surprised that there was not a line in Vegas this time.
I just flew to San Diego from Seattle round trip, I also have diabetes 2 and carry needles for shots, I had no problem with TSA and having that stuff in my carry on luggage, they didnt even ask about them. I did had the same concerns you did, but if you go to the TSA website it says what you can and cannot have
