I keep reading about an additional tax coming to Las Vegas, room tax to pay for the NFL team that might be coming. Eventually the taxes might outweigh the cost of the room. I guess the tourists will keep paying it..
the visitation numbers are up, so you better believe they will keep trying. they will throw anything at us and see if it sticks. perhaps they could charge us for all of the second-hand smoke that we get to inhale for free in the casino. if you break down the total price of a car rental, it is sometimes one third for the car rental company and two thirds for all of the taxes and fees. I hate getting nickel and dimed to death.
And you can pretty much guess what the casinos will feel like they have to do to recoup the taxes they pay for their comped guests rooms. Las Vegas costs are like Ragu, it's all in there. You might not always be able to see it, but it's all in there.

I agree, it's all in there but not in Ragu, it's in Prego!
