I'm seeing that the Rock In Rio LV Festival (which is May 8 and May 9 as well as May 15 and May 16) is being highly hyped in Los Angeles (at least through the Los Angeles Times). There have now been two advertising supplements about this -- one through the L.A. Times itself and one (which is in today's [4/3/15] paper) from https://www.rockinrio.com.
So people should check into this if interested. The staging areas seem to be involving the borders of Las Vegas Blvd, Sahara Ave and Industrial (and it's mentioned that it's across the street from Circus Circus Casino).
