At least the weather right now is fairly decent. Just wait a couple of weeks when the tourists will have to hoof it up those stairs in the 100-degree heat.
Two reasons why the escalators won't be fixed anytime soon:
1. They don't generate any revenue.
2. They're used by the proletariat; the medium- and high-rollers never venture outside. Vegas is becoming massively indifferent to the former group.
I can't really classify this as "Reason #79 to Not Visit Vegas"--it's more like "Reason #7,081 to Stay the Hell Away From the Strip."
This thread is mis-leading...at least 80% are out of order.
Robert, assuming that your post is out of order, then only a maximum of 66% of the posts can be our of order. I'm curious to hear your response.
Look on the bright side....it makes it harder for the street bums to lug their karaoke machines up to the second level.
