SAFETY IN STRIP PARKING GARAGES

I've expereinced first hand the positive impact of social media.   I had a bad experience with my local furniture store and couldnt get anyone to return my calls.   I put a shit review about it on Yelp and had the manager call me within an hour to resolve my issue.

They look at that stuff.

Oh, I'm sure it has some effect with many businesses...but apparently none whatsoever with casinos (at least in Vegas). Their business model is based on the premise that they can completely screw everyone over and the lemmings will keep flooding in.

And so far, they've been absolutely right!

We can post Yelp reviews about the horrible service at Caesars or the awful gambling at Circa or whatever until we turn blue in the face, and they'll just laugh it off. They absolutely, positively don't give a rat's ass what we think. And as a consequence, they don't care whether we visit, stay away, or explode in a giant fireball. They don't give a rat's rectum.

They're laughing in our faces.

I get asked by local folks I know if I have any Vegas tips for them. My number one tip is to skip the car rental so they won't have to worry about shit like this.  Most casinos see not having adequate camera coverage in the garages and hallways leading to your room as a feature not a bug. They know if a casino employee shows up on the footage, they are going to have to pay a huge claim.

This is one of the dumbest postings I have ever read. For 30 + years I have rented a car when I visit Vegas and I have never had a problem when parking. The only time I Pay anything is when I use valet parking downtown at the Fremont, which costs $2-3 whenever I visit downtown and am not staying downtown. For Caesars and MGM properties I have their credit cards that allow me to park for free whenever I visit their properties. Everywhere I stay either has unpaid parking or the parking is free with my room reservation. Renting a car allows me to come and go whenever I desire and I don't have to deal with taxi's or ride share pricing and the expected tipping. In all these years I have never had my rental car damaged or broken into.

Everyone should be aware that this person doesn't understand concepts like "your experiences are your own, no one else's."

Being wary of Vegas parking garages is smart, not dumb.
