My wife and I are down to eight days or 176 hours(but who's counting) before our ninth trip out there.

7 days or one week, either way, I like it!

6 days away!!! Oh, I love it when it's less than a week but then that weeks goes by soooo slowly!!!

The best build up I could get for my trip happened tonight , We leave tomorrow and about 33 hours before take off , I get a phone call " Derek could you do a disco tonight " ( semi pro dj as well as sound and lighting engineer )
Duhhhhh ----NO , I am going on holiday ,awww please, lets just say they ended up paying me a lot more beer tokens than the agency recieved ,.
Arrived at A Hotel called the Airport Thistle , and I can see my plane parked up for the night from the front door, so near but so far,
Walks in to do function to find out the bride and groom have just got back from getting married in vegas and are having a vegas theme night for their guests, including Frank Sinatra tribute singer , roulette and blackjack tables , Try and work out my emotions because I am sure I cant .
Now 23 hours before take off.

Nine days and 23 hours from now I'll be watching Baltimore disappear beneath me while daydreaming of the many royal flushes I'll be hitting in just five more hours.

I leave Wednesday morning for the drive with my boss, arriving Thursday afternoon. He's doing the triathlon in St George, UT on Saturday, so it's an excuse for a guys' trip to Vegas!
