7! Driving thru Vegas, probably stopping at South Point for VP and Sushi, then staying four nights in Mesquite. Because of the heat might spend daytimes back in Vegas to visit friends and/or up in higher elevations in Utah. After that, who knows now that I have a popup tent on top of the Jeep? (Google Smittybilt roof top tent)

Finally, single digits...9 to go. Lucky I locked in a rental price in May at $242.00 total. Its never been less than $300 since and its now up over $500.

9 days to our semi annual jaunt - I prefer the summer trip over our winter trip - dry heat is always better than humidity in Texas. And a little monsoon rain is welcome too. Staying at Main Street Station and look forward to the great bartenders there and 4 Queens. Aside from a quick stop at Ellis Island and Orleans we are downtown gamblers.

FINALLY--NINE DAYS! (OK honestly 10 to Vegas, but we hit our local casino the night before so REALLY vaca has started!)
I too prefer the dry heat; the dew point has been brutal most of the summer in eastern Nebraska & doesn't look to end soon. (2 of our kids go to TCU so I understand Texas heat & humidity!)
Cosmo comped 2 nights (except resort fees); LINQ comped 3 weeknights, paying $68 total for 2 weekend nights.
Did Lyft last month & it was brilliant. Will have DH download FLYLV promo code for 5-$10 ride credits. We can each download a $20 Uber credit too if we need it. Plus I think I will get a $20 Lyft credit for referring DH!
Since Mom & I went for a week the end of May into June, this trip was only a go if I could go CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP.

So very little out of pocket except gambling; I taught summer school this summer & DH has been Ubering part time (we are both teachers) to cover that!!

6 days to go. Just need to get through 5 days of work, pack and drive to the airport. Went to Foxwoods a couple times in July and ended up winning over $1,500. Bankroll is ready to go.
