Plus, received BETTER offer from Aliante in mail today and was able to change reservation to new offer!Another nurse quit and called me today to warn me that they might ask me to work this weekend but to not give in! 1 nurse-26 acute rehab patients is why she's gone. Will NOT give in. I'm going to VEGAS BABY!!!
A few days ago, I thought I might have to cancel for the most mundane of reasons -- but, there's no turning back now. Christmas in Vegas! (Wait. There are Seinfeld tickets involved.) FESTIVUS in Vegas!
2 days!!!Oh, just LOVE being able to celebrate Christmas and then leave for Vegas the next day!Oh, and quit my HELL of a job so this will give me a boost before I start the new one. Trying to give me a patient load that puts my RN license in danger one too many times!REFUSED to clock-in and take the assignment. When the Director of Nurses did not give me a 2nd nurse or come in herself, I put my parka back on and left!!! 1st time I ever did that and felt bad to do it before X-Mas but self preservation is a must!
24 hours and 15 minutes, right after Christmas dinner with family.
I'm happy but so stressed. Still have all of my pre-Vegas stuff to do, like finish packing, working on my itinerary etc, but ALSO, finish wrapping presents, helping my mom cook, and attending Christmas Eve mass at 10 pm this evening! Yikes!!!!! Gotta run!!!!!

48 hours from now I'll be in the air on my way to Vegas.....I'm halfway packed, will finish tomorrow after I do some last minute checks (boarding pass printout, hotel itinerary printout, mapquest directions, car rental confirmation, etc. First thing that went into my carry on is the LVA Rewards Book and any coupons that I've been sent by HET, MGM and HardRock.
