Not sure what to think.Progress I guess.I'm deathly afraid of heights so I couldn't ride that rascal.Another way to draw people to that end of the strip.
Im sure they will want a big $$$$ to ride it and im sure i will pay it at least once.....curse you las vegas,,lololololol
whats the difference between this and the "faris wheel" that Harrahs is putting in??

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like this might prove to be kind of annoying.
I wonder how much downtime it will have - I think that Vegas is too windy for an attraction like that.
Also - will it be jumper proofed?

It depends on what it costs and how long the ride lasts. I've paid several times to go to the Stratosphere Tower, but you can stay there as long as you want. I also wonder about down time in high winds.
I HATE IT! It doesn't add to the beauty of the Vegas skyline it takes away from it. Too big and amusement parkish. I don't like the idea of non vegas corporate logos being a fixture of the strip view. When they show AT&T and other corporations ads on the wheel it takes away from the beauty of all the hotels on the strip. Would probably look better downtown, if there was a place for it.

I could not agree more. For me, Las Vegas is a get-away, and ads for Coca Cola, etc. are an abomination, IMHO.

Not a fan of ferris wheels anyway (boring to me) so won't pay to ride it. The ads, meh, I ignore ads as simply background noise so won't really be an issue for me. The fact that two of these (Linq being the other) are going up is puzzling to me - once you're ridden one, why ride the other?
