As per the first page LVA, this co. stated that Vegas was one of the 10 most disappointing places in the world. I gave this response.
What is it you are looking for? At 3:00AM in most parts of the world it is on the down side. As for Vegas it has every thing most people want in a vacation, gambling or not. Most people spend $30 to $40 for dinner. In Vegas you can have what ever you are looking for at that price or less. OH! you want to go to the beach? Vegas has sand and surf right at the hotel you are at. Or you like hiking? Red Rock has easy or very hard and it's only 25 miles away. Then you are back in your room for a good nights sleep and getting a massage the next morning. Maybe you just want companionship? Vega is a Mecca for such things and no questions asked. Children? everything that they would want, from cat shows to fun arcades. I think you just lost a few bucks and have a bad attitude.

Also, at least during some points during the year, going to the Snow is another option there plus going to the Water (like Lake Mead -- and the Colorado River where there is Water Skiing and other stuff is only about 100 miles away) is also available. There are actually so many activities that people can take part in in and around LV. It's not like it's just gambling and there's nothing else to do there!
