So kind of a weird thing happened tonight

A Las Vegas casino has a promo where you can get 40% of your losses back next day on the machines. So unfortunately for me I lost $500 yesterday. And I drank way too much and was hungover like hell tonight. But I have to go back to that casino to pick up my free play tonight.

So I go there and put a $20 in a machine at a bar. Just to scalp out a beer before I go to the casino and I need some beers to help with the hangover. I look down soon after playing a few hands and am even and it says I have $225 in credits which is new news to me. I put a $20 so I come to the conclusion that some drunk high roller left $205 in credits on the machine.

then the more I think about it, over the next two minutes or so I decide that is exactly the amount of money between my $20 I put in and the rebate but I cant figure out how those credits got there since I didn't download them. Because last night once when I came back from the bathroom I looked up and my card wasn't reading. I had won like $15 in that time. so the $205 figure plus my $20 seemed even more right. I was trying to figure out how the hell the credits got onto this machine and wasnt happy about it when a man who I recognized as Anthony Curtis walked up to me and told me I was playing his credits.

He had mistakenly walked away from the machine and left $205 in it. Which freaked me out since that was theoretically my freeplay amount. I checked in the machine next to it and it said I had $160 in free play which was wrong. either those machine credits were mine and I could tell they were not of they owed me $200 in free play. went to the slot club and they agreed I should have $200 in free slot play.

went back to that bar but AC was gone.

Looks like you were right. Did he give you your 20 back?
alanleroy, always a breath of fresh air.

It was my error. I thought the credits transferred. Realized the mistake quickly and grabbed Jabjazz before anything happened. Gave him his $20 and offered to make up his $40 if the incident was to blame for his total being off. He declined, which was fair. He was totally cool. But this thread seems to indicate there's some discontent. Let me know if that's the case.

There is a casino that allows you to transfer credits between machines?

I've heard there's a casino advertising that right now. Not sure who it is, but can attest it's not the Palms.

I thought jabjazz perhaps had a few too many that night............never would have guessed
there'd be any truth to it...........did anybody else?

Sounds like AC tried to make it right.
CLV...What seemed weird to me is that an old-hat experienced player like Anthony C would walk away from a machine with $200 on it! Holy Toledo!

I think that proves it can happen to anyone.
